My boss has just bought an A5 and although it's a nice looking car it's no GTI so lacks any fun factor. It's just a car. 330D for me every time.
I'm of the "a real GTI should have 3 doors" camp as it fits with the ethos. BUT the mk5 and 6 just look wrong in 3 door so it's been a series of 5 door GTIs for me but going back to 3 on the mk7.
