The interior colours were not to my taste personally when I went view it.

After having it for a week, it has grown on me

I do about 250 motorway miles a week, so 6 gears is awesome. Surprised the pull it has when in 6th.

It could be a dealer special edition, 1 of probably 10 or 15 cars the dealer had made.

Or maybe not, we may never know.

It is just a very well spec'd GTI 180

same engine as the anni, just withouth the body kit and seats ect.

Got a good deal. Plus I got 6month tax in the price too. Just over £1k.

When fixing my leaky air pipes on Friday, I broke the dipstick tube  . I take it, they should just pull out?

Dipstick guides become very brittle, they should pull out but usually they just break (unless they've already been replaced). Make sure you've got all the pieces and you haven't lost any of it into the sump
