Laminex'd headlights...
« on: 15 June 2013, 15:47 »
So I've been thinking about laminexing my headlights for a while but I didn't like the permanence of them so I set about covering my headlight protectors instead...

One cover fitted for a comparison

and both

and a close up

I know there are loads of bubbles, I've ripped this one off and done it again since the picture was taken

At least now I can take them off whenever I change my mind lol

I'm not too keen on these but each to their own! Do you have HIDs? Rio says you can't see much with standard bulbs.

i think it depends alot on the colour of the car too.. you need a  dark car to pull it off IMO

Done a great job, good idea doing the protectors! Made a big difference to the front end :afro:

I had Lamin-x on my MK3 and didn't have any problems with light output
