Yeah the car feels lovely and smooth and progressive and drive almost like a petrol.
The issue I have is the car goes faster than it feels, the wife has a pd 130 running an angel tuning remap which feels much quicker but isn't if you know what I mean?
It has loads of punch and feels more rewarding to drive.

Different engines and fuel systems

The old PD is very punchy with loads of low down torque. I had the 130 myself and certainly it gave you that shove in the back

CR is much smoother in its delivery

Yeah the old PD certainly pulls well but my CR is smooth as silk.
As you say 2 different cars and the CR is fantastic on fuel.
Thanks for the input

I had my wife's done by Motech in Northampton. He did her last Mk5 and has done a few of my cars in the past. Just takes a sensible approach in my experience not to hit the headline figures at the expense of everything else.

2012 GTi 3 door, DSG, Nav, Roof, Monza's. Candy White..... and it's the wife's.
2013 Abarth 595, 2013 911 C4S.

I went with APR and 6 of my friends in the UK have APR on thier TSIs and Rs and love it. No issues at all. You really cant go wrong with APR. They have the racing experience, Customer service that no one can match and they have done thousands of cars.
