Pimp my ride (something to aspire to...)
« on: 10 August 2005, 07:41 »
Did anybody watch MTV's pimp my ride uk last night?

'What lets down his side is his ride. A busted broke down 1989 Golf mk2 that gets no love. Westwood's about to pimp his ride UK style.'

Dear f**king god!

I thought the interior was done nicely but not my choice of colour. The doorbuilds looked fantastic, be interesting to hear them.

I quite like pimp my ride, most of the cars end up looking horrible but they do do some pretty cool stuff. Westwood is an utter t*sser tho, tries so hard to be black but he just looks ridiculous!!

Far too chav for my liking but yes they have some good ideas. Would be nice if they just gave you the money instead to do what you wanted. Id probably smack westwood if he did something like that to my golf. Its not like he has the strength to fight back. But he could release the "BIG DOGS" onto me and they would "RIP IT UP" lol

I regularly watch the US version so was looking forward to the UK show, but have to say it's disappointing. Westwood is a total d*ck and so far the "pimped up" cars have been terrible. Aspects of the Golf were ok, but all the other cars they have done are sh*te! Definitely a case of ruining a good show.............

i also bet they didnt do that in a weekend, Considering how long it takes to smooth down those bumpers it would take one persion a full 48 hours to shave, prime, shave, prime, flattern, paint three times etc etc, they would of had to plan it and be constructing parts for at least two weeks before hand, then had the car braught to them, and considering it took 5 days to re-paint 4 of my doors i doubt they could do a house of kolor kandy paint job on that car in less than a two days.

never seen it, other than whats on that website, but i like it!!! i like the cheesy things they do like putting in a little compartment for his skateboard, and all that crap. at the end of the day the carisma lot (that is who does it yeah?) have a high standard, they may have to rush stuff but i think they do a good job. not saying i'd want any of the cars they do but i think its cool! so there!

and yes westwood is a complete prick...tottaly the wrong choice of person to present it.

i also agree with the CHAV remark..
