Hello everybody.
I'm here looking for nice genuine people to sponsor me and a few others for a charity walk / run around Brecon Beacons for the Wales Air Ambulance Trust.
I am a reservist for the British Army and belong to Welsh Transport regiment who are part of the Royal Logistic Corp.
There are four units within , and we are all competing against eachother in this charity event.
All money will go to the Wales Air Ambulance Trust and will help to keep them going with the very well respected work that they do.
No money will be seperated and all donations go straight to them.
The reason that Welsh transport regiment is invloved is to raise money to support them. The commanding officer has therefore turned it into a challenge within the regiment to encourage some healthy competition.
Each squadron has to raise a minimum of £200 as part of the challenge and the quickest team wins points towards the commanding officers sword. A tradition that's been ongoing since 1989.
Myself and 5 others will be running and walking for 30km ( 18 miles ) around Brecon Beacons which if anybody is familiar with the terrain will know how difficult this can be depending on the weather.
