I think Conti 2's aren't too bad but Conti 3s are a nightmare because the rim protector is a lot more pronounced on retail tyres than the OEM ones.
I got a puncture in one of mine back along and luckily had a spare OEM Conti 3 which matched the other 4 but the replacement 'spare' I picked up has a much more pronounced rim protector and thus is annoying me as it will look slightly different.
If you're going to get a replacement check the actual part number matches on the sidewall and not just the rest of the generic tyre spec.
There are always part worn Conti 2s on ebay, just pick one that doesn't have sidewall damage or puncture repairs.
Or replace both tyres on the same axle and keep the good Conti 2 as a spare.
