Buying brake discs
« on: 10 June 2013, 14:01 »
I need new discs all round, whilst I was looking at EuroCarParts for some new front discs I found three different sizes.

256mm £30 per disc
280mm £32 per disc
288mm £35 per disc

I have no idea what size discs I have on at the moment and would like to put the 288mm one's presuming they will have added benefits to braking?

Will these fit on standard calipers or am I much better off getting the standard 256mm ones?

Cheers guys!

I only have a 1.6 but my heavy braking has managed to ruin the discs in 7000 miles so was hoping that bigger ones would cool better
