What will be your first drive / running in

While watching the Grand Prix I decided to pull up Google Maps and plan my route home from the dealer.  Here it is below.

I'm picking mine up from near Birmingham and heading home to Cambridge.  Start out on the A5 but get off asap and follow this route:

Birmingham A5
B4669 - First bendy bit and a few twisty roads - 7 miles
Back roads to cross the M1 then get to Market Harborough - Lovely twisty roads for a long stretch - 20 miles
A6, A14 (round Kettering), A6 - Faster Rd and stretches of Duel Carriage periodically for some bursts of speed - 20 miles
B645 - Second twisty bit with some ups and downs as well - 19 miles
A428 - Fast road, off duty coppers often caught here! - 6 miles
A428 Duel Carridge - Practically a motorway, time to open that throttle - 6 miles
Cambridge :cool:

Total of 80 miles, about 2.5 hours.

What are your guys plans?

For me it's up the A52 from Derby to the M1... Up to J26 and down the A610.. So lots of chances to beat some civic r types off at the lights!   :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Mines might be the longest and the only one involving a ferry lol......
Pick up in Gillingham for a drive back to Belfast (via Liverpool-Belfast ferry) involving M2/M25/M1/M6/M56/M53 and about 270 miles.

Should be fun though, but what is your estimated delivery?  Hope you're not doing that in winter weather.... or wet for that matter! haha

I've got a mixture of town driving, dual carriage ways.....and some decent corners to nail it  :evil:

Mine will be getting it's head kicked in round the Lake district for the weekend and then a 150 mile cruise down the M6 back to the midlands!

Mine will be a trip from Warrington to Edinburgh (approx 220 miles).  Need to plan an alternate route to stay off motorways so I can break her in properly.

Make sure you pay the extra for Premium Class or the car will be on the deck and covered in salt by the time you get home  :shocked:
