Had recently sold my grey mk4 gti and within a week was regretting it so quick browse on internet I discovered a mk4 3door gti that was literally a few minutes away from me the car was a bin inside it stank and carpets matted seats ripped various trim broken or damaged but had full mot and tax and was relatively straight panel wise it was on a W plate 2000 showing 111k which I consider avg miles . The car is a white 3 door which I have been informed is quite rare on a mk4 gti ? So interior stripped out n binned and a trip to local breakers replaces carpet , door cards , glove box , vents arm rest , visors , parcel shelf various dash trim , gamma with 6 fisk dash changer and had code written on top ! All was going well just needed seats wanted black leather recaro but all a little too pricey for me so searched the web and came up with A3 half leather in black for a bargain £100 in mint condition all simply bolted straight in looked great and audi version of recaro felt more supportive than actual recaros . Then I noticed air bag light was on despite seats being plugged in ?. I figured I can live with it for a short time a day or 2 later my abs light came on without reason ? And a few days after that service light came on my dash looked awful with so many warning lights on  I am now thinking whst the hell have I bought ?.. so fellas / vw gurus I need help on following .....
Is white rare ?
How do I get rid of airbag light but keep the seats
How do I find out what the abs problem is
How do I clear all errors and faults and keep them cleared so dash is warningnlight free
Oh and just discovered it has fr/ re adjustable coilovers fitted do I need to jack car up to adjust and how can I be sure any ajustments made are all equal

Many thanks in advanvce all help and advice is very much appreciated

First thing you want to do is get the car scanned via vagcom.
White Gti is are extremely rare however you want to check that is hasn't been re sprayed.
What engine has it got? And what engine code?
Airbag light could be due to the Audi seats but not 100% on that but it will cause you to fail an MOT.
Abs light is usually down to a sensor which you can see near the front brake disc might have had brakes changed but sensor not plugged back in.
Park you car on a flat surface and measure arch to floor to find out if your ride height is correct all round :)

vag com will tell u which wheel or wheels theres a faulty sensor on,if thats what it is, delete the air bag code and it might not come back.if it occoured straight after removing original seats, thats again if it is ur seat bags rather than ur front bags, so as above VAGCOM!
mk3 gti"s and vr6"s,present a silver mk4 anniversary on adjustable coilovers.

Once the airbag light is on it should stay on regardless of the seats plugged in as you can only clear the light through vag com
