Hi guys, i have a aftermarket central locking system installed which came with the car when i bought it. just recently i was on my way to a MOT station and pressed the boot unlock button while the key was in the ignition and the central locking stopped working and all the doors locked while the key was in the ignition, luckily i had the window open and got back into the car, this has happend before but only when i have disconnected the power from the battery. I am currently going through a crisis of locking and unlocking manually and ive played around with the wiring to the battery from the alarm and it doesn't do anything whereas before the idicators would flash to show the alarm is powered on and also changed the batteries in the remote but still nothing. Have i erased the code or can i recode the aftermarket fob using the VCDS software?
