Hey all just after a bit of advise starter packed up on my car this morning had it replaced but i still have a problem the car has a cobra alarm / immob a few times since fitting the starter i turn the key and nothing lock /unlock the car with the fob and it will turn over do these have some sort of memory that if the battery has been disconnected for so long it needs to re calibrate ?
also it seem to still struggle turning over i am thinking this could just be down to a bad earth earth to starter looks a bit rusty i have ran a battery check that is fine so i know its not down to the battery
its the 16v abf btw
