Lamda sensor

Just fitted a decat down pipe, and now the sensor after where the cat would have been don't fit!! :laugh:

Any ideas??

Turn the tube it goes into round a turn so it faces downwards
(It's strange because mine fits straight up!!!)

The hole for it faces the floor of the car (upwardsinto the tunnle) and I can't turn the pipe as its fitted

Just a 2.5 decat downpipe bought it out a member on here...it's fits straight onto my miltek system no probs just can't fit the sensor back on!!

What does the rear sensor do anyways??

hmmmmmmmm hard to say without looking at it.

It measures the oxygen after the cat and compares it with values from the pre cat lambda sensor amongst other sensors to provide optimum fueling. or something along those lines lol.

what I mean is, if it doesn't squeeze in like that, then loosen the clamp where it meets the miltec and undo the 3 bolts where it joins the dp, then twist it one way till the bolt holes line up (1/3 of a rotation) so it points away from the tunnel.

Ahhh  :laugh:

Mine isn't like yours, mine is a one piece!! Can I have a hole drilled at a diff angle and close the existing hole. Is it safe to drive ie damage to the engine or will I just use loads more fule
