Samco hoses

Hi, appreciate i will get slated for this as they are not needed for my standard 16v, but i've bought a red Samco hose set to smarten up the engine bay and replace the old standard tatty hoses (keeps the red/black anni theme going as well) has anyone got them on theirs and think they are worthwhile or just a waste of money? (i didn't pay loads for them btw)

Is fitting literally jubliee clips loosened off, change hose and retighten???

I got mine for a bargin at 90 pound delivered new. I have yet to fit them but I will be using samco clips to fit them. They will last a lifetime and smarten engine bay up

I've had them for about 4 years on mine, very happy with them.

I fitted the full jubilee clip set too instead of the original springy clip ones.....

This isn't the reaction i was expecting!!! i thought i would get some stick for putting uprated hoses on a pretty much standard 16v, but when i saw them in red i was sold!

Lets hope they come with the samco jubilee clip set as well then cus otherwise thats not a cheap purchase! i think they are £40, is it as simple as take them off and jubilee clip them back on again?

Looking forward to getting these on now.
