quick help. vr6 oil filter housing

Trouble getting mine off. It is normal thread and anticlockwise to undo?

Sure it is, but be careful I snapped the casting where it joins the block getting angry at my old raddo.
If it don't budge you can drop it off easy by taking out the three bolts into the block and using a vice.
Just get a new 8 seal from the stealer's as it usually falls apart.

Not that bad. A little on the seals when its been jacked in the past. All metal still there. And driver wing has started at the bottom. But still repairable without cutting and welding. And couple paint bubbles

It hasnt got the trim on it so I know whats there.
