Ooh had a soft spot for Tungsten Silver.... not so sure now. Don't get me wrong it looks nice but not as good as white, CS or DPB.

I've always steered clear of silver cars; if you're unfortunate enough to need any bodywork repairs, I've been told by a couple of people in the car body repair trade that it's one of the most difficult colours to get a good colour match

I'm pretty anal and OCD about the appearance of my car, and I wouldn't be able to live with a 2-tone paint job. I must admit though that silver is one of the easiest colours to maintain, and shows the dirt much less than dark colours.

Quite like it in silver.I Just find it a shame they dont bring back diamond  silver  the original GTI shade of silver as it was one of the only two colours the original GTI was available in at the very start.

Has anyone actually seen Tungsten in the flesh? I'm curious to know if it's got a gold / beige sheen to it or if it's a pure silver, although slightly darker than Reflex.

Wouldn't order any colour without seeing it first hand, but just interested...

I saw it ages ago, think it had a slight gold tint and I remember thinking... meh... (was a standard Golf though).

Jimbles photos look fab though!
