Those 19s on Carbon Grey do look incredible, very tempting . Do you guys in the UK get summer performance or all-season rubber as shipped? Need to put the comfort/firmness comments in perspective since the tires can make a big difference there.

Much prefer the Steel/United - now how does the latter compare to the Carbon? Hard to judge if they are not in the same photo but it looks to me like the Steel/United is a more neutral and slightly lighter grey, the Carbon has slight bluish overtone. Anyone?

OMG - I think I'm in love with the Carbon Grey and I ordered Tornado Red !  :shocked:

Somebody - quick, show me a pic of Carbon Grey sh!t up with UK weather.......  :laugh:

Haha ditto. Here's the pic I took of the Carbon Grey GTI I test drove on Tuesday. Was a completely dull day and it made the car look black. Dunno whether that's good or bad. Sh*ttiest pic I could find but it still looks mint.

Looks black in that pic - still looks freeking fantastic though - so its not put me off - oh the dilemma!!! :)

To add to the torture ..... tungsten silver pictures ... This colour looks great in the standard mark 7 .. The pictures aren't great but it still looks good

I saw that in the flesh and it looked a bit "hearing-aid beige" to me. Not a great GTI colour IMO.

I'd certainly put myself in the older generation category, and I quite like this colour...but it's still too dark.

I have wasted too much off my younger life cleaning, buffing and polishing dark coloured cars that show dust and dirt, so I've ordered Reflex Silver. White was a consideration, but my other car is that colour and it shows the dirt more than silver cars I have owned in the past.

Maybe I'm too old for a GTi?
