There will be loadsin grey I bet as it was a popular colour on the 6 in newcastle. :tongue:

Them photos of the blue do it no favors due to the dull weather.

The pictures i posted were in bright sunshine and i don't think it pops anywhere near as much as yours mate?

I still love that blue, and switching to it would make me somewhat rare (blue GTI with leather? haha).  So far I've stuck with white, but they're probably equally hard to clean...

Thanks for the links - first time I've seen my choice of Carbon Grey on a video. Think it looks awesome and the red highlights really pop! It's many thanks to the forum that I chose it as obv wasn't on the configurator but was able to confirm at dealer that it was available.

Strange you should say that, i saw a GT in Tungsten today and it looked very very nice! I kind of wrote it off originally cos all the pics i'd seen it looked almost champagne but not in real life, i'm not changing mine from white now as it's sat at week 40 but it definatley made me think! :-\

Hi I just found this video on you tube, and I am sure this is Oryx White as opposed to Pure White.
I know that a lot of people believe that VW have used Oryx white at the motor shows, but I have never been convinced of that I always thought that the motor show cars were pure white.
This video shows the difference (I think), I like it and I'm glad as that is what I ordered, however I think the pure white and Carbon grey are awesome too.

I was at the Paris motorshow where they launched the GTI and the car there was definitely pearl not flat white. That's why I ordered it!  :smiley:
