Hi - just picked a mk7.5 DSG GTi, looking forward to getting out in it after previously having had an S3 a few years back.
Expecting to take a visit to RTech for DSG/ECU Stage 1 but first job is a tow hitch as it replaces the Peugeot!

Welcome, I’m a newby here as well. The Golf looks a tight fit on the BJ Clubman! I can recommend the Wesfalia removable towbar, fits perfectly in the cutout your bumper should already have and is invisible when removed.

Yes a bit cosy on the trailer!
The Westfalia detachable one is out of stock (manufacturing issues) so went with Oris which fitted really nicely in the existing cutout.
Towhitch, F&R dashcam, tracker all fitted, maps updated so making progress.

Yes, it was out of stock when I wanted one as well, that was during Covid though! At least you’re sorted and getting the jobs done.
I updated the maps on my 2019 estate easily enough (though it took ages) but couldn’t for the life of me get it sorted on my other Golf. In the end I bought a new card from a guy that sells updated ones online, £30 but saved me hours on the computer!!

Hi, I'm new here, just thought I'd say hello! I bought my GTI this time last year and I've loved it so far! Since then I've just recently had to have the thermostat & pump changed due to a coolant leak, and a rear bearing and sensor change, other than that it's been a dream!

My good mate who also owns a couple golf's advised me to sign up on here to join a community on any thoughts and advice, being my 1st GTI.

I need to get round to doing some decent images but there are a couple quick snaps below..
