I've been lurking around this forum since I picked my baby up in February this year just before lockdown! She's a 2017 7.5 GTI in Tungsten Silver (amazing colour!). Came with DSG and Tech Pack. I'd have like the PP but there were literally none available in Ireland at the time.
It's my first Golf, never mind GTI. I've had plenty of cars over the years from a 2 door STi Impreza, to a Polo, a Passat, Passat CC, Audi A7 and last car before the GTI was a brand new Peugeot 3008 GT Line 1.5 diesel. I went from the A7 to the 3008 (trying to be sensible) and hated it!! Sold it 6 months later at a massive loss and picked up the GTI. Best move yet!!! 😁
I love everything about the GTI so far. I miss the AWD of the A7 but I didn't want an R.
I've read more post here than I care to admit but you guys are a collective wealth of information. I've taken plenty of tips and advice over the past number of months so thanks for that.
I hope to contribute over the next while now that I've my first post out or the way.
I'm trying to share images but not familiar with the format so hopefully it works.
