Average cost of 60,000km/40,000m service?

Can anyone give a new owner of mk6 GTi a heads up on the cost of this service probably with the brake pads changing as well.  Is there any of this service I can do myself without invalidating the extended warranty I have on my 2010 car?

I'd be £280 all in for a full service and front pads with genuine bits to keep VW warranty happy.

Check T&C's, some will allow genuine bits to be used and must be a garage/qualified person, some will need to be VAT registered, some just genuine parts and some warranty approved non-genuine parts.

I was under the impression that to maintain the warranty servicing has to be carried out at a vat registered garage, not on a driveway using blocks of wood instead of axle stands

I am a VAT registered garage/mobile mechanic.

Please refrain from bringing work reputation down when all you've seen is a picture of a personal shell of a vehicle on the limited space I had available at the time.

I'm currently finishing off a job on both an Iveco van and a mini. The 800 odd KG mini is being held up for 3 tonne approved stands and the 2.5 tonne Iveco 6 tonne stands.

I cannot afford to not have approved tools for jobs as this would seriously not go well in the event of needing to make a liability insurance claim.
