I've tried searching but no joy there's just too many posts to search through.
Simple question I no it will be a 1 word answer but do u need to recode the drivers side door lock module to the car one fitting a second hand module??

I would doubt it , the only electrics inside are microswitches and PCB wiring

To be honest a second hand module is probaly going to have or at least end up with the same problem.
youre better off opening up yours and re-soldering the dodgy dry joints.

Thanks guys was just checking u see as I had a second hand one fitted the other day but all my Symptoms are the same so I'm guessing the one that's been fitted was also faulty.
Thinking of fitting another one that's new or guaranteed working b4 I try the CCM as that does need coding I think.

Dont think so, not unless youre putting a new one in etc..
if youre just changing the door module then you dont have to touch the ccm.
just take out the door module, and take apart and follow the how to in the maintenance and info section!
