mk4 pd130 or 150 gt tdi

hi guys just wondering what i really need to look out for on either of these.
i would prob look into chipping either car eventually. iv heard bad things about the cam on the 150 and the clutch. obviously i knw about the cam belts on them and i dnt mind paying to have this done. any ideas how much we talking?

New cams/followers etc £500ish - NOT cam belt, this is an issue every car has unless it is changed when it is meant to be changed.

Clutch £400ish

I'm 240 on the belt and pump. 300 with new aux belt and tensioner and a thermostat.

Clutch IIRC I'm about £280-£300 with an LUK kit.

Just a rough idea for you. I'm fairly competitive but not "my mates dads uncles cat will do it for £50 so can you beat it".
