New mk4 owner
« on: 26 May 2013, 15:01 »
Hello folks :) *wave*

so just sold my MGZR Diesel and have purchased a MK 4 Golf GTI 1.8T

Already Loving it

here she is

So into the nitty gritty

Shes done 160k paid £950 for her

Pulls like a train no turbo smoke turbo in good con
Gear box smooth and light

fantastic drive

been well look after

Sooo the bad bits
drivers door handel is a bugger has to be yanked to open im sure that's a easy fix and the keyfob is glued together so need a new one before the battery dies

So other then that so far so good.

SO future plans

im thinking

- Boost Gauge
 - Panel Filter possibly piperx
Exhaust system? cat or decat not deicded
Remap

Then possibly a engine rebuild
bigger wheels?

she struggles with 15s getting up the lane into the garage

any comments suggestions are welcome :)

Yeah I did hardmonkeys

guys a quick question I was looking at forge dv700p's

And there are 2 different springs one for remapped and one for not

does it matter which one?

I am aiming for a remap but not straight away

Yes unmapped you want to use the green spring then switch to a yellow spring when you remap :)
