any fishy people in the house?

Hi all . I got some fishy last week but forgot what they called. I got a few snaps of them but they not VERY clear. Will add more later.
The guy said they are the harquline type fish. So we went to pets at home and seen some that look like ours and they look like platters.

Not a good spot for your tank fella, nice flat surface away from a window would be better.
You will need a heater and a light hood for tropical fish.

can get away with out a light if you have no corals or live plants in the tank if you can get a spot were the light is reasonably good.

ran my old tank for about 7 months with no light, then bought lots of coral so needed a light.

A proper Light and control cycle helps colour the fish and keep them healthy, it also promotes healthy water.
Goldfish are fine without but tropical will suffer without.

Ok i will move it to a bigger base. I got filter in there working 24/7 but guy did say you dont need a heater as these fish can live in cold water.

So long as the ambient temperature of the room is stable and warm they will probably be ok

looks like molly fish.......... if they tropical they NEED a heater end of. ive had topical fish for about 5 years. and a good pump and clean filters with a air pump really promotes healthy fish and tank.

sturdy big enough stand away from window the tank with algea up real easy been in so much sunlight

Ok moved the tank over onto the work top.
They are platty fish (got mickey mouse on tail) wife told me that.
So anyone recomend me a light and a heater please and even air pump.
Defo need a light. Tank is a 28 ltr
