Fitting rear bushes
« on: 24 May 2013, 07:46 »
Did this yesterday in about 15 mins couldn't believe how straight forward it was to do. I had already planed for it had got myself a few bits to do it with. I also gave the hole where the bush goes a good clean out with a sand paper wheel on the end of a drill.

2 19mm spanners
2 bits of metal plating
76 OD pipe
10 inch of M12 threaded bar
2 M12 nuts and washers

Then I made it up so it was just a matter truning the bolt and press in the bush.

Job done.

I've witnessed several hours and much swearing fitting rear bushes without such a device.

The Laser fitting kits are like £70 for what they are!
