You are stuck in traffic listening to the radio when disaster strikes, they are playing Rihanna.  Your passenger reaches for the volume control, do you...

Let them turn it down, who cares if the on symbol is the right way up?  People who do need help right?
Tense up, you know the on symbol won't be the right way up but you grin and bear it?
Scream at them to leave it alone and use the steering wheel controls to turn Rihanna down yourself?
Slap their hand away and silently curse the VW engineer hoping karma is making him pay for this somehow?

I'll be honest, I cannot abide the temperatures on the dials to be different, sort of defeats the object of Dual Zone, but there we go, OCD for you

Ah, now this I'm looking forward to!  Can't stand it when my wife turns the temperature up to 25°C just because she just got in the car and it was a tiny bit nippy outside!  Now she can have it on whatever she likes and I can stay on a more sensible 21-22, heh heh heh

My 'OCD' takes it one step further... I have to have all the air vents either fully opened or fully closed & aligned correctly so that all the slats form a straight line!

I also like to have both temperatures the same, and even numbers.  Also, vents have to be either fully open, or closed, or half way - nothing else will do, and they all have to align properly!  Some very odd behaviour admittance going on here!

Thank God I'm not alone!!

I even have to have the front seats at the same point on the runners so they are the same distance from the dash and back seat!!

I meet an ex-colleague for coffee occasionally to catch up on things and as soon as she gets in my car she deliberately pushes the seat right back and f**ks about with the volume control as she knows it winds me right up!!
My family on the other hand are scared to touch any of it and even if my wife is freezing in the car she is reluctant to touch the heating control as she knows it bugs me!!!

At least with climate control it all looks symmetrical at a glance. Spare a thought for us poor GT drivers with old fashioned air con. We have to have all three controls all in line, pointing straight up, regardless of what temperature, fan speed and direction of air we would ideally like.

Its like an epidemic!  Why are we all so messed up?

Do you think there is anyway we can blame this on the VW ordering system?

Not sure, just don't come to my house and leave the surface of the spreadable butter a mess after using it!

How many of you have noticed if your wheel center caps are the right way round? The VW should be the right way up when the valve is at the 6 o clock position.
