Upgrade on mobile contract..

Hey guys and.gals,

Got my upgrade coming up nxt month, can't decide what to get,

Currently got iPhone 4, and I love the way it works, easy to use, despite it being apple lol...use it daily for maps, social networking, general browsing the web, and sometimes watching videos..and obviously as a phone lol...not sure if an iPhone 5 will be just the same, I mean most of the apps I use will be going back on it! So is it just samey...

What other options have I got??

Who here has what, and would you recommend over an iPhone??

Has anyone gone from iPhone 4/4s to a 5 and has it felt like a new phone rather than just the same phone with bigger screen..??

Ive gone from a 4 to 5

First thing you notice is how much lighter the 5 is. I also find it faster and a bit slicker switching between apps. Size wise its spot on. I dont get the whole bigger is better thing 

Its not a massive leap forward IMO, but for me, it does exactly what i need it to do and is easy and simple to use

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to try a few out this weekend, see how I get along with them, I'm a lorry driver, so I need the maps function to be pretty spot on, when apple changed the maps app last year, it really did piss me about haha, but I've got used to the apple maps now...just about.

Anyone else got any other brands that they are using...what are they like?

You can download the Google Maps app you know

Probably    i find its great for when I need it. Certainly far better than Apple's offering!!

I went for the 5 also because I could just download all my apps and contacts straight from iCloud without having to work out how to move everything across etc

I guess it depends if you fancy a change or just a newer, faster model of what you currently have

True, I know what I'm like tho...I'll get something new an then hate it after a few months...then wish I'd got an iPhone...if I got the iPhone, I'd wish I'd tried something different haha...my wife hates how indecisive I can be..
