Hi,
So my front r32 bumper has taken a whack and the bumper guide/bracket has broken.
The part number on it is
1J0 807 177 A
I've called VW but find their parts people hit and miss sometimes, sometimes more enthusastic than others.
Anyway, before I make the trek to TPS and see the guys there does anyone have access to systems to tell me if the above part number is still in existence?
I know on the standard gti etc bumpers those parts aren't removable as they are bonded on (I think) however, with the r32 ones they simply clip on.
Note, these are the brackets at the edges of the bumper that run where the wing connects to the bumper, nothing to do with the headlamp washers or arch extensions.... A quick google suggests its been bought up before but couldn't find a definitive answer.
If I can get them I'll be going with plan b which is to hack one off a standard bumper and get it bonded on with sikaflex/tigerseal etc
