Carb jetting question regarding cams
« on: 20 May 2013, 09:46 »
Right, typically when you add a performance part ie exhaust, air filter on a carb you rejet to accomdate. Does the same apply to longer lift cams?

I've asked google but its been no help, the way I see it is air and fuel mix as it passes through carb, so a longer lift will allow more air to pass through, whether I need to jet or not I'm unsure, so I'm looking for any answers to this question, encase I should buy some spare bigger jet sizes for when my cams arrive.

Thanks in advance.
