I know 0 about cars so hopefully you can help me out.

GOLF GTI 1.8T mk4 2000 110k miles W reg 150 (AGU) supposed remap to 180. (Cost me £1300 but I wanted this car!)
Fitted clutch recently
Clutch 19/5/13 LUK Borg & Beck golf gti.

It was advertised as having an induction kit, dump valve and remap but after reading posts about dump valves it got me a little worried as it seems to be different

Welcome bud. 

Get a forge 007 or 008 recirculating valve in and ditch the dump valve on there have read through maintenance section loads good info.. and get yourself a vagcom cable you will need it

the earlier 1.8t lumps seems to have less issues with dump valves as in casuing issues etc but you cant beat the recirc valves that are out there. good induction kit though  . seems a fair price if it in good nick and got good history etc

Thanks, it has full service history up until 90k then maintenance with receipts etc.

Is the current valve going to cause a problem or be any better? trying to identify if but unable to so far.

TBH you'll get a better gearchange noise through the carbonio pipe than that blow off valve anyway

The dump valve can disrupt the sensors because its dumping air that should be placed back into the intake... like the lads said, get a forge 007/008, there not as loud of a 'wshhh' haha but they will benefit you as they keep your air pressure up on the turbo...
at worst a dump can cause engine management light to come on i believe

Description says it's a 1.2 Clio 

Despite that, mismatched tail light and washer cover missing scream accident damage to me.
