Erm... How do you take the B****y door card off?

My Freind has another problem with her MK3 GTI 2.0 16V.
After just having a new clutch, gearbox and radiator the driver's side window decides that it will pack up and consequently is stuck half-open.
All the other windows and switches work fine.
I need to get inside the Door to have a proper look at the wiring, motor and regulator. How the hell do I go about getting the door card off?

tbh..i thought id wud have just been a case of removin winder,door catch surround(i dont have to remove full thing in mk1 not sure about others),arm rest(where your electric switch is),a couple o screws n mine just pops off...n the door tray-that stoopid plastic bit where you put all ya sweetie wrappers  ...that make sense?
no doubt one of the boys will come along n give you their version soon...

Take out the door lock pin, then remove the plastic shroud that the electric window switch is is, this simply pulls off, behind this you will find 2 large phillips hear screws, remove these then its a matter of carefully pully it off
