I've just ordered a set of these to.
Awaiting delivery so fingers crossed no errors.
I turned my drls off and activated my fog lamps as my drls which is a nice white light and looks a million times better. (My opinion of course)

I've just fitted these to my gtd and they look great with no errors.
Took me an hour though as my hands are like shovels and the holders were very tight to remove.
Fiddly but worth it

Using vagcom turn on foglamps as drl and turn off your existing ones using the indicator stalk.
At least its a white light rather than the original yellow bulb.
There's a how to somewhere I'll see if I can find it

Sounds interesting! I don't like having to drive around in daylight with my xenons on all the time as they are the DRL's on mine
