Matching colour shark fins?

Why doesn't VW use colour coded shark fins with the new Golf? Would look sharper and blend in better if they did. Other top marques have them. Surely it doesn't save them that much money to keep it plain black plastic?

I think they are referring to the sharkfin on the roof
