FK Automotive Lights

This is proper long shot, but has anyone bought these lights recently from them?

http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/Lighting-Tuning/Headlight/Headlight-Set-suitable-for-VW-Golf-4-type-1J-yr-98-03-black-RHD-LHD.html#preisalarm_link

I only ask cause I bought a set a few months back they were from a faulty batch and were broken. As a result my passenger side light wont adjust properly and aims across my drivers side beam.

I can get it sorted but it involves them sending me another set so I was hoping (although SO unlikely) that someone might have bought some and can tell me they're fine :D

Once I finally get a set that I can have set up right, I can get my damn HID kit, which is why I got projectors in the first place, but with aiming issues I didn't want to risk blinding people.

I bought the chrome ones last month and the passenger side one was faulty. Its hard to explain basically on mine the inside wasnt connected to the rear adjusters so it flopped about if you remove the rear cover you should see 3 off white plastic ball joint things if they are all connected as the should be I would almost put money on it the headlight is set in the LHD mode theres a toggle thing in the back of the light you have to switch over !

If you can figure out what way RHD is please post a picture of them as I have absolutely no idea I just left them as they were !

the LHD/RHD is a metal sort of... lever type jobby, same on yours? It's actually labeled on mine, is a little hard to see though. They arrive on the wrong setting so you should probably have changed them :p

The issue with mine was similar, the left/right adjustment ball joint thing was broken tso the ball joint just comes loose from where it should be rather than adjusting. Hopefully the replacement set won;t have the same issue. When I phoned them they said that 3 out that match of 5 had been returned for the same reason.

I'll try to remember to take a pick of the LHD/RHD switch when I change them next. :)

Ah my solution is pretty good.

They're sending me another set, which I paid for. If they have the same problem then I'm permitted to use make one good set out of the two and send back the faulty set for a full refund.

As the broken part is held on with a screw and theres a matching on on the drivers side lamp.

Can't wait to get this sorted so I can get my HID's :D
