That looks terrific! How did you get on with the bolt scenario?

Tapered bolts supplied, there wasn't much difference in the shape when I took the originals off so I have just used them.  If you're ordering a set then request radius seated ones perhaps.  See below for the difference.

Need to get a set of locking bolts too for additional piece of mind and I'm going to order some of the black plastic bolt covers too as the one that covered the original locking nut has a different shape so one nut is currently exposed

Are they long enough?  Might get some of those, not a bad price I guess.

I think I'm going to do the fronts, but maybe 10mm instead of 15.

You have me worried now youve said that lol. I meaured the tapered bolts and got 42mm, i couldnt find any 42mm but i could find 40mm so assumed it was my dodgy measuring skills, however when they arrived they were slightly shorter than the old ones, but their on my car and im still here. Ill take one off tonight and see if there are any unusual stress marks on it just to be sure.

2mm isn't a great deal, I'm sure they'll be alright!

I've just been out in mine and got a chance to look at the car properly from behind.  It looks much more aggressive with the wheels that little bit further out!  Very happy.

The fronts are next, definitely.

Nice one Monsta, glad you're happy with it. How far are you thinking of going with the fronts?

I'm running 8x18 ET44 alloys on my GTI which gives me roughly 11mm(?) equivalent of a spacer on the Austins.
There's room for a few more millimetres on the rear of my car but I'd say not much more than 3 or 4 mm on the front without danger of catching the arch on speed humps. So I'd say 10 to 12mm max on the fronts on the Austins would be ok.

Cheers for that, I was thinking 10mm on the front so useful info
