« on: 14 May 2013, 16:30 »
So I'm going to be running stage 2 pretty soon once i get it mapped on! I'm running Revo Stage ! at the moment, I've got 280bhp and 312Ibft.

i believe they say revo stage 2 give you 10% more, just wondering if there is anyone on here already running stage 2 and what figures you made??

Think 280 is a bit optimistic on a stage 1
Should be around 300 mark for stage 2 if you got uprated cooler, full tbe, and a decent filter

They say 270bhp for a standard engined stage 1 and 10hp they say for an air intake, i had an air intake on mine at the time and hit 280bhp so im hapy to say it probly is near enough correct, i was thinking 300bhp sounds right for stage 2!

Say goodbye to your clutch.......I suspect the biggest thing you'll notice between stage 1 and 2 is the torque increase.

Not had mine rolling roaded but all I can see is its a huge amount of fun at stage 2 with plenty of power where you need it

stage 2 already?! not hanging about are you pal! haha

why don't you go for the APR kit, think that gives around 365bhp. but sounds like you've got half the kit already, you'd probably just need a milltek and the APR map.

but as said, I'd be very concerned about the clutch. your running DSG as well?

Went stage 2 today man!
Not alot of diffrence, feels abit more torquier and better at top end, need to put it on rollers really to find out some numbers!
Im running

Autotech air intake
3" race non res miltek with 3" pipeworx decat
Forge dv
And now reco stage 2

Now to start saving up to get k04 turbo
Go stage 2+ eventually aiming to hit 400bhp, if k04 doesnt make it, then it will be going hybrid! Haha

Clutch is ok at the moment, it only has slipped once or twice befor!
And im manuel :)

Stage 2 is deceptive as its a lot more linear and less boosty, also holds power better after peak

Unless you get a proper LSD forget a K04 upgrade, savage performance but XDS can't cope, numbers for sake of numbers all be it mental in gear pull

Always refrained from stage 2, as makes no sense to me on the GiT:
1. You have to spend money on parts (plus possibly labour) which need uprating etc, for an end result similar to the R.....so why not get an R in the first place ?
2. Still unsure about bhp levels in excess of 275bhp on FWD cars. Asking alot of the front wheels; planting power, steering, main braking etc etc.

Hope it works out for you pal, but I remain sceptical

I already had the upgrades done so wasnt no biggy, and am running more power than an R i had more power than an R on stage 1, as for the fwd concern, im running big power and hell of alot of torque, i dont have any problems, it all comes down to how you drive though, yeah if your sitting still and plant your foot your going to wheels spin torque steer and etc...

I have a mate pushing 450bhp through the front wheels kn a mk5 and that outs the power down nicely!
