hi all as im new here thought id say hi
my golf gti central locking is playing up and its doing my head in as been trying to sort it most part of the day
now remote doesn't work changed battery etc but not bothered as I use key now then if I try and dead lock the car
from inside using the button on drivers door both passenger and rear passenger door wont lock they pop back up
but rear drivers and drivers door will lock also my car wont lock all 4 doors from outside with key only drivers side.
but if I press the deadlock button before I close drivers door all locks lock then as said the passangers doors pop back up as well drivers door as its open but rear drivers locks then if I shut door then try and lock doors sometimes it will lock all doors sometimes shuts windows if open very rare
unlocking works fine everytime with windows if I hold key
when I do try and lock it normally I can hear the sound of the locking motor but it seems it don't have enough power
any help on this would be great as its getting worse and my alarm keeps going off after unlocking
