Sounds like a plan to me... best to always see what u buy in front of you for the quality... I want to get the main head lights and the smaller main beam lights too and the M3 rear stlye lights - do you think they will be selling these at E38 too?

not the best pic but hey its off me phone, are these the ones your are on about? i have also relocated my side lights to these as they came with that option too!  :smiley:

The lights look good, they appear to be the lights for the smaller bumper golf, so they are a bit smaller and sit further back into the bumper, a lot of cabrio owners do this.I tried them too, I even put spacers behind them to push them further out.  But the ones that I am after are an exact fit in the hole, and are the exact same size as the originals......its a bit anal I know but I just want something to look just right. will post a pic as soon as.

ah i see, well if you do find some then i would be interested as i have never been 100% on the fit of mine!  :smiley:

i had the sml type one on cab before bump...didn realise there were dif ones until searchin for new ones..notice dif in price..unless thats just the dif price between cry/clr? :undecided:

Well i am back from my holiday to find the new indicators waiting for me, they are exact copies of the orig ones but crystal clear, still waiting for my osram diadem bulbs to arrive, when they come....with luck on Wed. then I will post a picture of them.

Well my bulbs came today, along with some rather nice multi LED side light bulbs that light up with an amazing pure white glow, and some LED rear indicator bulbs, which although are supposed to be the really bright premium ones don't show up too well on the M3 style rear lights. anyway the lights are a great fit, exact sized, lots of rubber washers etc.


Anyway here goes with an upload of the photo of them taken toady in the rain.

http://www.volkswarenhaus.de they speak good english if you want to spaek to them, and sell some unusual Carbon bits for mk1 golfs too such as carbon bumper end caps too. :smiley:
