ive been into golfs since i was 12 my dad had a mk2 gti 16v sitting in the drive and one day i was bored and i started cleaning it up. then i got a vw magazine and saw how amazing you could make them look. ever since then i was just trying to get the car as mint as possible i was working on it atleast 3 times a week and i use to even have a diary lol on wat i did 2 the car lol by the time i was 15 i was sorting the engine out stripping bits and cleaning them. right to this day im quite happy with what ive done with it, my whole family love it. my whole family have been into golfs for ages my uncles and cousins. right now my uncles has a mk2 vr6 on nos which sounds like a ferrari and my cousin has a mk2 syncro which looks awesome. Now that im 17 i need a car i can get insured on and theres no way i coud get insured on the 16v so im trying to sell the thing so i can get a mk2 1.3 or something. im planing on giving it the old school look with the small bumpers and i just want it looking mint as possible. then transplant a 2.0 turbo diesel engine in there instead of the usual vr6 or 1.8 turbo.
