new to the scene!

Hi all, I'm new to the fourm, at themoment I am looking for either a MK2 or a MK3 golf, If anyone knows about one or has one for sale i'd love for you to get back to me, i'v been a VW enthusiast for a while but never got my hands on what I wanted :( hopefully someone from here can help out, looking forward to speaking to you all and showing up at any meets too see peoples VeeDubs :D,

Welcome to the forum Dan, buy a mk3 as they are much cooler and way better than mk2's which no one likes and can smell a bit funny too.

Mk2 gets my vote, if your going for mk3 then get a 16v, whatever you go for buy on condition and check on rust.

And yes Im will be looking for a 16V wayne :D want the power aswell lol,

Buy on bodywork condition Dan...better to have a perfect 8v than a 16v teabag...

Errm yes actually..the 8v is a perfectly worthy motor......i still say buy on condition.

The 8v engine is a boat anchor  :smiley:

Just hold out for a decent 16v, don't rush into buying anything, theres plenty about......
