Who has a evil bay 3" decat/dp

Who has the above on their 1.8t? In particular, who has one with a welded in 200cel sport cat?
Had to change the exhaust centre pipe yesterday as it was shot. Replaced with the TDI centre, well eventually did. Had to break open a fresh grinder disc.
It revealed the OE DP flexi is shot.

So, performance wise did it make a difference?
Noise wise was it louder? ( running OE rear box).

Ideally I would not want to run a cat, but I can't be arsed to swop it back twice a year. So the magnaflow weld in cats look a good shout. Any experiences?

And any negatives?

Hi I'm running a ebay special 3" decat and downpipe but it has just recently cracked along the flange where the weld is, it's a massive split of about 2.5" long and 2mm wide. It has however been on the car for about 5 years now though so it didn't do too bad for the price.

It can't comment on the difference before and after because I fitted it when I swapped the engine.

ok, bit of a bum, GFs just reminded me that the camera was dropped in Loch Ness last year and it hasnt worked since 

as with the 200cell theyre a bit hit and miss, whens your MOT? really if its not till next year you could get the 3" DP with CAT for under 200 on the bay?

Nice one thanks. Did you mate it to a standard system or aftermarket? The downpipe I've got looks to step down from 3" to 2.5" then to 2.25" so I'm guessing I might need a sleeve making up to join it to my 2.5" system?

I have it straight fitted onto a Scorpion system. Slots together fine, apart from either the down pipe or the Scorpion system being slightly too short so it is blowing a bit at the join and making a really annoying drone at Motorway speeds.
