No wonder they would not work on my MK2 

Are these chinesse style handle a straight replacement for MK3 handles, i mean do the MK3 come with these style handles as standard?

they look the same as the ones on my mk3 which are standard. Hope that clears up your dilemma!!

I need another favor

OK, these are the correct handles for the MK2 (MK3 lookalikes), but they are for the rear doors! apparently to use them on the front doors you need to swap the latches over!

Now can i use the normal MK2 handle latches for this, or do i need MK3 front latches?

Any ideas guyz?
