uncalibrated weigh bridge results on valver
« on: 04 May 2013, 16:25 »
I was at the scrappy this morning, weighing in some spidge.

I have removed the rear seats, changed to front buckets, lighter wheels, no spare, nothing internal really.

It came out at 1080Kgs with a quarter tank and no me.

Need to be another 80kgs lighter.

Removing the aircon will get me 15kgs, sunroof 12kgs, lighter battery 5kgs, there's a bit more trim to come out with doorcards and boot lining say 5kgs, lexan windows to the sides and bootlid must get me down by 10Kgs
Out with the stereo, 4 speakers and wiring must be 7Kgs,

any more ideas?

The scrappy said I can go back each time to get weighed no bother so can track what makes a difference.

Stainless exhausts weigh a lot, mine is at least 10kgs more than a Mild steel system.

I think you will struggle to get a lot more off tbh even after all the stuff you have listed.

All plastics, arch liner, etc!

Smaller wash bottle, exhaust manifold. Cast manifolds weight a lot.
