get it back tomorrow :)

As of tomorrow I will have a perfect Mk 3 GTi

Following an incident where a window cleaner dropped his ladder on my car, itÂ’s just had a professional (VW bodyshop) respray and panel beat to the entire side (done on his insurance thank F*ck).   A good thing as it had a couple of scuffs and dents on that side before the window cleaner did his thing!

Whilst it was in, I got them to repair and respray the front grill (which was badly stone chipped / dented) and at the same time I have had the front alloys reconditioned.

So – as of tomorrow – I’ll have a showroom condition Mk3.

ItÂ’ll be up for sale soon, so I thought it was a good idea to sort it out for sale.  What sort of cash to 1998 Mk3 8vs go for these days?   It has 70k on the clock and is in A1 condition.  A/C and fshÂ…any ideas?  I want to sell it at the end of the year.

I’m thinking £2,500… :undecided:
1998 Mk3 GTi 8v - now sold :(

2003 BMW 320d 150bhp now bought :)
2002 Seat Leon (almost a Mk4!)

I would of thought u'd get that no probs, especially with air con etc.

I know when I was looking around at cars around £2300-£2400 I only managed to find 1 with low-ish milage (80k) that was in very good condition &had FSH, but it still didnt have air con & was older than yours!
