how to wax and how to polish
« on: 01 May 2013, 11:31 »
newbie on detailing here so apologies for my numb question.  Can somebody point to how to properly wax and polish my car (including all equipment needed)?  I'd like to try and do that on my own rather than paying someone else to do it for me so I'd like to get an idea what would that mean...
Wife's: mk8 TSI 1.4 RL, 5dr atlantic blue, DSG, Norfolk 17", pan s/r, leds
Now: mk7.5 TSI 1.4 RL, 5dr tornado red, DSG, Singapore 17", pan s/r, leds
Before: mk6 GTI 5dr candy white, DSG, Monza Shadow 18", s/r, bi-Xenons, DCC
Even before that: mk5 GT 5dr tornado red, manual, s/r

Best thing is have a word with Chris from waxamomo as he will help on the right path.

Unfortunately there are so many products and different way you can clean and detail your car asking for general advice will get confusing trust me we have all been there. but once you get going better remortgage your house as it can get out of hand very quickly. lol
