best petrol for a mk4 gti?

This might sound ridiculous but is there much between tescos 99ron, vpower etc? Asin for power, mpg etc..

Yeah i normally use tescos but filled up with vpower today, will have a look later

Its simply V power rebranded have filled up twice with v power nitro+ and cant say i notice a diff And nothing wrong with tescos Momentum 99 if i cant get to a shell station its what i use 2nd

All the high octane stuff is good, but you won't have any problem running it on 95 tbh.

As already stated V+ Nitro is just rebranded V-Power. Both V-Power & Momentum99 are both good fuels to use, I prefer both to BP ultimate although there isn't really a noticable difference between any of them.

The car is slightly less responsive when ran on 95Ron and returns slightly less MPG, so I try to use Super whenever I can.

you should use whatever fuel your car was mapped on. If it's unmapped 95 RON will do

Mines mapped for V Power, works fine on 95 though. Plus I can't afford V Power  :grin:
