hello mate thanks for the reply dude.my j plate has now done 164000 ands even though it has full service history by wv for every 5000 upto 132000 shes now starting to use abit of oil and smoke like a twit when i let off.abit of a tell tale sign that the rings are on ther way out.so the thought of a brand new engine is very appealing to say the least.ive beren looking at the tsr build and bore kits to take it to a 2ltr.unless you have any suggestions dude?

Guess it all depends where u want to go with it, and how far you want to take it. If i had a spare 1k laying around i'd want to go for a little more power. Source the engine yourself. rebuild it yourself and try and find someone to fit it for you if your not to keen.. where abouts are you in the country?
