Squeel from rear wheel
« on: 28 April 2013, 23:21 »
Can anyone help me?

I get a loudish high pitched squeel from the drivers rear wheel, it seems to be dependent on whether steering wheel is straight or off centre. Its worse when its straight..it's intermittent and seems to only do it when car is fully warm.

The pads dont look too low but only looked through wheel, could it be the rear pads?

Or could it be wheel bearing?

Check to see if the brake disc heat shield is touching the disc that will squeel

Might be your caliper sticking.

Could be the caliper binding slightly. Have a feel of the wheel, if its a bit warmer than the rest, it'd point to it being a caliper issue
