Ford recaros into mk3

Has anyone fitted ford recaros into a mk3? I've done a in depth search and got no where, but i might have missed it.

I've got a set for nothing and really wanna fit them. They have the extending base.

Your going to need to weld the bases to the mk3 subframe

seen then in a mk2 but only the fronts

You will have to adapt the frames from you existing or another set of seats to get them to fit. Will involve cutting and welding.

Lovely seats not far off the mk3 recaros so be really nice when fitted.

Iv had XR3i 'wingback' recaros into a sierra by having the moving parts/ frames cut out and re-welded,
Perfect fit,
And the same with 911S seats into same car.
I had 'chris gilley beetles' do it in manchester for 60qid the pair both times.
He'll also be transfering my wingbacks into my mk3 wagon and the 911's into my B4 wagon

Its reletavly straigt forward, cheap and above all,

Well i stripped the drivers base right down to the frame on a recaro. It doesn't look like it will be to hard. I just need a standard base to ply with now or the time to take mine out and mess.

They are the exact seats i have. Except compared to those mine look brand new! Cannot wait.

Well fitted the recaros today. They are sat a little high and passenger is a tad close to the centre console. But they are SO comfy! I will alter them at some point to sit lower, but they are mint arm.
